Flower crowns are trending for brides, bridal showers, birthdays and more. You can easily make your own flower crown for an elegant and whimsical touch to any occasion. Talk to your florist about planning your design and flower choice. You will need the following:
-Flowers and Foliage
Make a circle with your wire, the approximate size of your head circumference. Wrap the edges of your circle together to form a full circle.
Cut off flower blooms and your foliage with about two to three centimeters length to wrap onto the wire.
Cut a long length of florist tape. The tape is sticky as it stretches! So stretch it to stick.
Begin to wrap the blooms onto the wire circle with the florist tape, stretching as you go. As you wrap each one, make sure to overlap so that the florist tape is hidden by the next flower.
If not using immediately, store the finished flower crown overnight in the fridge to keep the blooms fresh.
